YOU KNOW IT, BUT WHY?
You know that you’re searching for the truth..
But why are you searching it in books other than the Quran?
You know that you’re searching for tranquility..
But why are you searching it through plays, dances and songs, other than the Quran?
You know that you’re confused about this life..
But why are you running away from it and not rely one the One who created life?
You know there are so many questions not answered..
But why you stop seeking and think this whole idea of religion is a lie?
You know that this life has been so unfair, so injustice.
But why you ignore the fact there’s a next eternal life that’ll rectify everything?
You know that this is all about responsibility..
But why you are blaming Him and says He knows everything, why am I to blame?
Realize one thing my brothers and sisters.. Allah has answered this since long before, by telling us the story of Adam & Iblis.
Iblis was respected and granted high rank above the angels, so did Adam was respected and honoured above the angels.
Iblis disobeyed Allah by not prostating to Adam, so did Adam disobeyed Allah by eating the fruit from the tree.
Iblis was punished, so did Adam was punished. Both sent down to the Earth.
But realize, when they were caught disobeying Allah, see the difference of response made by Iblis and Adam.
Iblis proudly COMPLAIN, REJECTED THE RESPONSIBILITY, by saying:
أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِّنْهُ خَلَقْتَنِي مِن نَّارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُ مِن طِينٍ
I’m better than him, you created me from fire, while you created him from dirt
[al-A’raaf(7):12]
And, Adam, instead of complaining..
He humbly ADMITS and TAKES THE RESPONSIBILITY, as mentioned:
قَالَا رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
They said: “Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.”
[al-A’raaf(7):23]
Because of that, Iblis was sent down to earth dishonoured, but Adam was sent down with respect.
So are we sons of Adam, are respected being by Allah, but do we respect ourselves?
Do we accept the fact that we are here now to waste our time with too much questions, when there are already to many signs for us to quickly uphold this responsibility.
You know that our capacity of mind and intellect is limited, that there are too many things happening around us are way out of our control of understanding and wisdom.
That’s Islam is based on the foundation of Iman. That is to deeply believe without any doubt, that everything is for our good.
So, please, give it a thought. Just a simple one. And put yourself to the real position you know you’re suppose to be.
Remember Him. Remember where you’re from. Remember where you’re heading. Remember what’s your true purpose.
Allah will surely, even if it slowly, open up for you the path.
